Support Swing Dancing in Medina
Medina Lindy in the Village’s operating costs are funded solely by ticket sales and community support. We work to keep those costs minimal. We are grateful for the generosity of Bent’s Opera House in leasing us their dance floor for a very modest fee, and for the assistance of Author’s Note, Medina’s independent bookstore, with publicity and decor. Beyond that, costs include insurance, credit card processing, supplies and, for our themed dances, some inexpensive decorations (most of which are donated).
Medina Lindy in the Village is not set up as a nonprofit entity, however, as with many other arts and enrichment organizations, every penny earned through ticket sales, individual donations, and business sponsorships goes toward operating expenses. None of the organizers receives payment, and most services (DJ, dance instruction) are donated.
We welcome contributions in any amount and would be delighted to discuss corporate sponsorships and creative ways to showcase to the community your support for arts and culture in Medina.
