Hey Medina Lindy Hop Dancers,
Quick newsletter this month. Our Cool Yule-themed holiday dance will be on Thursday, December 14th this year. That’s a week earlier than usual. Going forward, all our dances will be on the 2nd Thursday of the month.
We will only have two weeks of lessons this month (on the 4th and 11th) and then we will see you in January for an exciting new year of Lindy Hop Learning.
Here are the full newsletter details:
- Cool Yule: Our monthly dance in December will be on December 14th. We’ll have the place all decked out and will dance to holiday tunes by Buffalo DJ Tommy Sprinkles. Holiday dress is optional but encouraged. As always, there will be a free lesson at 6:30 and the dance will go from 7:30 to 10:00. Watch for an invitation to follow soon.
- Monthly Dances on New Dates (Same Time): Moving forward the monthly dances will happen on the 2nd Thursday every month. We are changing to a week earlier in the month in order to avoid conflicts with other monthly events in Medina. Our first dance of the new year will be Thursday, January 11th, 2024.
- Only Two Lessons This Month: The weekly lessons will be on December 4th and 11th at 7:00. There will be no lessons on the last 2 weeks this month. No lessons on the 18th nor, obviously, the 25th. Lessons will focus on some new beginner 8 count patterns we haven’t worked on before.
